Job summary

Eyetastic Services seeks an experienced Optometrist to deliver mobile eye care at correctional facilities. This role offers flexible scheduling, competitive daily rates, and the opportunity to serve a medically complex population in a secure environment, backed by a mission-driven organization.

Openings include part-time (1099) and full-time (W2 or 1099). Minimum daily rate is $1,000 with typical earnings of $1,500–$2,000 per day.

Qualifications

• OD degree required.
• Heavy medical optometry experience required.
• Residency training preferred; new graduates must have completed a relevant residency.
• Ability to work independently and travel to multiple sites.
• Willingness to work in correctional facility settings.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile eye care services at correctional facilities.
• Manage ocular and systemic conditions for medically complex patients.
• Travel to multiple sites to cover mobile clinics.
• Document visits and coordinate care across sites.
