Job summary

Vision To Learn is seeking a Georgia-licensed optometrist to join our mobile clinic team in Atlanta on a part-time, W-2 basis. You’ll conduct comprehensive eye exams for schoolchildren and help deliver glasses to underserved students, traveling across DeKalb, Gwinnett, Fulton, Clayton, Cobb, Henry and Douglas counties.

Compensation is $95/hr with a flexible schedule, no nights and no weekends (except very select voluntary exceptions), plus mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Licensed optometrist in Georgia.
• Willing to travel across DeKalb, Gwinnett, Fulton, Clayton, Cobb, Henry and Douglas counties.
• Must pass Department of Justice background check (LiveScan) and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye exams for schoolchildren and assess ocular health.
• Prescribe vision devices and instruct patients in proper use of corrective aids.
• Document patient findings accurately in internal systems.
