Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to join as independent contractors to provide health readiness services for military service members in Massachusetts. The role focuses on weekends with some weekday shifts under the Reserve Health Readiness Program, across multiple locations including remote installations.

Candidates should have an active NP license, CPR/BLS, and experience in primary, urgent, or occupational health, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Active NP license in good standing.
CPR/BLS certification.
Experience with primary/urgent/occupational health is preferred.
Knowledge of military systems, protocols, and terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

Support physical health assessments of military personnel.
Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
Identify any concerns that need immediate attention, including Behavioral Health.
Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
