Job summary

DOCS Health in Detroit is seeking Nurse Practitioners to partner as independent contractors providing services to military service members, primarily on weekends with occasional weekdays under the RHRP.

You will work across various locations, including remote military installations, travel as needed, and collaborate with supervising physicians where required; background checks and E-Verify may apply.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in the state.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work weekends.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, medical records, and questionnaires.
• Interview service members to determine medical concerns.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the medical record.
• Identify urgent concerns including Behavioral Health.
