Job summary

Great Bay Staffing Group is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for roles across hospital and physician offices in NY and PA, including mobile gamma camera work. Salary ranges from $82,000 to $105,000 with a $15,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and collaborate with physicians and technologists to support patient care. Current NMTCB or ARRT certification is required or eligible, NYS licensure eligibility, BLS within 90 days,

Qualifications

• Current NMTCB or ARRT certification or eligibility
• Eligibility for New York State Nuclear Medicine Technologist licensure
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
• Valid driver's license and insurability
• Preferred: 2- or 4-year Nuclear Medicine Technology degree
• Preferred: one year of experience; new graduates considered

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine and nuclear cardiology procedures with patient preparation and radiopharmaceutical administration
• Acquire and process images using gamma cameras and PACS
• Run quality control testing on imaging equipment
• Order, prepare, and calculate radiopharmaceutical doses
• Administer therapeutic doses and coordinate planning with referring offices
• Manage storage, distribution, and waste of radioactive materials per NYS requirements
• Travel to physician offices across NY and PA for mobile gamma camera operations
• Participate in accreditation activities and continuing education
