Job summary

Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi is seeking a traveling Nurse Practitioner to join our mobile team serving the Mississippi Delta, Starkville and Oxford areas. You'll provide comprehensive well visits for BCBSMS members, collect specimens, perform tests, and coordinate disease management.

Responsibilities include leading patient care plans, educating patients, and coordinating referrals while traveling days and overnights; a company vehicle is available and travel expenses are covered.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing Practice required.
• Active NP license/certification required.
• At least 1 year of NP primary care experience.
• Eligible for prescriptive privileges.
• Ability to travel day and overnight.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of care for members.
• Develop care plans under Medical Director supervision.
• Manage metabolic and chronic risks; prescribe meds.
• Provide educational counseling and coordinate referrals.
