Job summary

Proactive MD operates an on-site health program in Mississippi and seeks a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner. The candidate will provide primary care with a patient-focused approach in a clinic setting and operate under the supervision of a Collaborative Physician.

Requirements include an MSN, RN/NP licensure in Mississippi, and at least 3 years in family practice. Certification and DOT compliance are preferred and a strong emphasis on HIPAA, OSHA, and high-quality patient care is stated.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (MSN) in nursing or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Family Practice/Primary Care.
• Licensed RN and NP in the posting state.
• Family Nurse Practitioner certification preferred.
• DOT Medical Examiner Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Knowledge of OSHA workplace safety concepts and regulations.
• Current BLS/Basic Life Support certification for medical providers.
• Prescriptive authority under Collaborative Physician per guidelines.
• Adherence to HIPAA, OSHAA and clinical quality standards.
• Strong computer skills and experience with Athena EMR.
• Familiarity with mission, vision, values and Patient Promise.
