Job summary

CLF Consultants LLC, doing business as CLFC Healthcare and Communications, is expanding its Mississippi clinical roster to support on-site assignments at State of Mississippi agency healthcare facilities in and around Columbus.

The Nurse Practitioner will deliver care within the full scope of practice for NPs in Mississippi, assess and manage acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications, and collaborate with physicians and facility leadership.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Mississippi RN license or multi-state license with Mississippi privilege.
• Current Mississippi authorization to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Certification as a nurse practitioner by a recognized national certifying body.
• Ability to practice in collaboration with one or more physicians as required by Mississippi.
• Two years of experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner.
• Vaccines current (flu, COVID-19) per facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care within full scope of practice for NPs in Mississippi.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions for the patient population.
• Prescribe and manage medications and treatments per scope and facility protocol.
• Collaborate with physician and facility leadership on medical direction and supervision.
• Document care, prepare reports, and maintain patient records in the EHR.
