Qualifications

• Minimum of one year’s work experience as a physical therapist preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.
• Ability to perform lifting and transferring of patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans.
• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide education resources.

Skills

Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques

Effective communication skills

Fine motor skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy

Current license as a Physical Therapist

Basic Life Support or CPR certification
