Akumin Inc. is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist Trainee in Beckley, WV to provide diagnostic imaging services across our CAMC/WVU partner sites.

The role emphasizes patient safety, effective communication, and high-quality imaging, with opportunities to travel to support multiple locations. Ideal candidates will hold ARRT MRI registration or equivalent, an active state license where required, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Registries (ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS) preferred.
• State license as required.
• CPR certification.
• Active state driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications and aseptic technique.
• Produces high quality diagnostic images.
• Orders supplies, cleans unit, and assists in preparation for transport.
• Effectively communicates with customers and/or radiologists.
• Trains new technologists and/or PC's.
