Job summary

MedQuest Imaging in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Mobile MRI Technologist to join our traveling imaging team. You’ll operate MR equipment, prepare patients, and assist physicians to obtain high-quality diagnostic scans while delivering compassionate care.

This full-time role offers weekend differentials, mileage reimbursement, and the opportunity to gain experience across multiple site locations within the Greater Winston-Salem area. No overnights or on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
• Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR).
• Applicable state license where required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MR equipment and perform diagnostic scans.
• Prepare patients and assist physicians during procedures.
• Travel with mobile MRI truck to multiple locations within the region.

What You'll Do

The Mobile MR Technologist travels with the mobile MRI truck and assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program
• Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR)
• Applicable state license where required

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years' experience in MR
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems
