Job summary

Carilion Clinic is seeking a Mobile MRI Tech (Float) to perform MRI imaging procedures across multiple sites, with a flexible part-time schedule. The role requires ARRT MRI certification or eligibility, BLS-HCP, and a high school diploma or GED.

You will operate MRI equipment, inject IV contrast, and assist with patient processing and documentation. The primary location is in Roanoke with float duties to Franklin, Rockbridge, or NRV, and a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is available for new

Performs IV contrast injections and other skills as required.Performs duties associated with processing patients, which may include scheduling, registration, file management and computer processing skills.Complies with all Carilion Clinic and Imaging policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.Participates in the training of students and staff as assigned.Maintains appropriate registry and MRI registry. Must maintain CEU's in MRI for accreditation. Enhances personal and professional growth through participation in educational opportunities.What We Require:Education: High school diploma or GED required. Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology required.Experience: NoneLicensure/Certification: Certified/registered by ARRT in MRI, or certified/registered in an imaging profession by ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS, or eligible for MRI advanced certification by meeting ARRT candidate requirements required. MRI certificate accepted. Applicants who have completed MRI school or are currently enrolled in MRI school will be considered.
