Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a Part Time Field Service Technician to support hospitals with medical waste services. You’ll be on your feet, performing container exchanges, inspections, and routine servicing in clinical environments, with lifting up to 50 lbs and pushing carts up to 300 lbs.

The role offers part-time hours (20 per week), a Monday–Friday 8am–12pm schedule, and work-related travel within Illinois. A reliable transport and a can-do attitude are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the day.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and active, on-the-go work.
• Strong attention to paperwork and procedures.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Illinois.
• COVID-19 vaccination required due to hospital access.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
• Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, including procedural spaces and sensitive equipment.
• Lift containers up to 50 lbs and push/pull carts up to 300 lbs.
• Maintain inventory and ensure areas are stocked and organized.
• Use a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with the team.
• Keep staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
• Represent Daniels Health with professionalism and a strong work ethic.
