Job summary

Compassionate Care Home Health seeks an Orders Runner to support Kern County and surrounding areas, driving a company vehicle when available and delivering essential medical orders. You will work with physicians and staff to ensure timely processing of orders and maintain accurate records.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid California driver's license, and the ability to drive long hours with reliable, safe performance. A positive attitude and strong communication are essential.

• Solid faxing and computer skills; familiarity with computerized documentation systems.

• Clean DMV record.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current and potential physicians.
• Meet Agency, State and Federal deadlines for obtaining physician signatures on medical orders and follow up with providers to ensure return of orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow written and routine delivery instructions.
• Utilize Google Maps to map routes efficiently.
• Follow direction and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Drive long distances in various conditions.
• Operate a company vehicle when available.
• Practice safe driving habits and traffic rules.
• Be honest, reliable, and hardworking.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with coworkers and referrals.
• Assist in building community perceptions of Compassionate Care Home Health Agency as a high-quality provider of services.
• Occasionally work overtime as needed.
