You will perform repair, calibration, refurbishment, and maintenance of general and specialty instruments in the field, while ensuring correct paperwork and timely communication with the home office.

Qualifications

• Must pass DOT medical exam and have an acceptable driving record.

• Capable of lifting items up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Sharpen, straighten, align, refurbish, recondition, repair, replace parts of customer instrumentation per guidelines.
• Repair and calibrate general and specialty instrumentation in a mobile unit; forward equipment as needed.
• Ensure orders and purchase details are accurately recorded and reported to home office.
• Interact with hospital personnel professionally regarding repairs and upkeep to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Generate and distribute paperwork such as invoices and tray requests as required.
• Maintain a master tray list for each customer with service dates.
• Maintain mobile repair lab inventory and vehicle maintenance records, and service logs.
• Adhere to hospital criteria, products, and contract terms.
• Identify quality issues and suggest improvements; participate in ongoing education.
