Job summary

360care seeks a patient-focused Medical Assistant to assist physicians at long-term care facilities with audiology, optometry, podiatry, and behavioral health services. You will maintain clinical records in the EMR, support medical equipment cleaning, and help coordinate patient flow during visits.

This role requires reliable transportation, up to 100% travel, strong communication, HIPAA compliance, and attention to detail to ensure timely charting, accurate billing, and a positive patient

Qualifications

• High School education or GED is required.
• Must have own reliable transportation, good driving record and car insurance.
• Must have completed and passed a two-step TB skin test.
• Good computer skills required.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Must be able to follow directions and listen to needs of patients and doctors.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctor in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Complete chart prep on scheduled patients prior to visits.
• Verify and maintain accurate clinical records through EMR during patient visits.
• Maintain and ensure integrity of all documentation.
• Complete end of visit reports and share with management.
• Provide daily feedback and coordinate with branch office to optimize schedule and reporting.
• Coordinate patient flow during facility visits and assist with mobility needs as required.
• Balance and generate daily production reports for management.
