Job summary

RIDE CARE INC. in Nebraska seeks a Mobile Mechanic/Transport Driver for full-time, remote work with a flexible schedule. Company vehicles provided; you’ll transport clients to care facilities and support services within and beyond the contracted area.

You will drive, log hours, report issues, perform basic maintenance, and deliver courteous service to partners, facility staff, clients and families. This role emphasizes safety, reliability and teamwork with dispatch and supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent driving record and safe driving history.
• Ability to work remotely and manage time to deliver results.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Experience in data entry and basic troubleshooting.
• Mechanical aptitude for minor in-field vehicle repairs.
• Must be at least 26 years old and meet driving requirements.
• Experience in military, security, law enforcement, mental health or related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive long- and short-distance routes and coordinate with dispatchers.
• Load and secure clients and belongings for trips.
• Maintain logs of hours per policy and submit to supervisor.
• Report vehicle defects and coordinate repairs promptly.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and cleaning.
• Provide professional service to partners, staff, clients and families.
• Enter trip data into Samsara and submit monthly reports.
• Assist with roadside incidents and towing when needed.
• Coordinate with fleet to ensure safety and compliance.
