Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (Class D) and clean driving record.
• Ability to operate and maintain a delivery vehicle safely.
• Ability to lift, carry, and transport meal containers and supplies.
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and customer service skills.
• Food Safety Certification required, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Meal Delivery: assist with packing and preparing meals for delivery; pick up meals, record temperatures, and deliver to satellite sites.
• Meal service operations: assist with setup, temperature monitoring, distribution, and cleanup; maintain records.
• Route coordination: help optimize routes to maximize efficiency and minimize travel time.
• Vehicle safety: operate agency vehicles safely and in compliance with laws and policies.
• Vehicle maintenance: conduct daily inspections, maintain registrations and documents, monitor fluids and tires, arrange maintenance.
• Record-keeping: maintain accurate weekly fuel, mileage, and repair logs; return vehicle to the garage as needed.
• Additional responsibilities: remain available on an on-call basis to cover staff absences; perform other duties as assigned.
