Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a CDL-licensed driver to operate a semi tractor-trailer within the Intermountain distribution network. The role includes safe driving, loading/unloading, and assisting with patient check-in procedures as needed.

Schedule is PRN with flexible hours and no guaranteed benefits in this posting. The position requires compliance with DOT regulations, safety checks, and documentation of trips, miles, and vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL required within 60 calendar days of hire.
• Demonstrated proof of ability to pass Department of Transportation (DOT) exam.
• Ability to show proof of insurability and maintains a clean driving record annually.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle with GVW over 26,000 lbs and trailers up to 53 ft.
• Unload/load items and assist with patient check-in procedures as needed.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic maintenance, including fuel and lubricants.
• Record trips, miles, and other required statistics; ensure safety checks before departure.
