Job summary

Shared Medical Services, an employee-owned provider of medical imaging solutions, seeks a Mammographer to operate on a state-of-the-art mobile scanner delivering screenings across clinics and community sites. The role offers a stable, full-time position with some travel on a mobile unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved 2-year Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registered with ARRT or licensed to perform general radiographic procedures.
• Prefer 40 hours of training in mammography; willing to train.
• Ability to drive or experience driving a 26' straight truck; willing to train.
• Ability to produce quality imaging with limited supervision.
• Must be 21+ years old; valid Class D Driver's License; CDL not required.
• Must have acceptable driving record.
• Pre-employment background check, urine drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Screening mammography at clinics, corporate and community outreach locations within the Twin Cities metro area.
• Operate in a two-person team on a mobile mammography unit equipped with a 26' truck with a Hologic 3D system.
• Relocate the mobile unit on a dedicated route in accordance with DOT rules and regulations.
• Drive the mobile unit to screening locations with mammographers and/or assistants.
