Job summary

Shared Medical Services in Minnesota is seeking a Mammographer to join our imaging team. This part-time role involves operating a state-of-the-art mobile mammography unit (26’ straight truck) and performing screenings at clinics and community sites in the Twin Cities metro.

New to mammography? SMS provides paid initial training. You’ll work as part of the ONETEAM, in an employee-owned company that emphasizes long-term careers, quality imaging, and local community service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved 2-year Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registered with ARRT to perform radiographic procedures.
• Prefer 40 hours of training in mammography; willing to train.
• Must have valid Class D driver's license; CDL not required.
• Pre-employment background check, urine drug screen and physical required.
• Ability to drive or drive experience with a 26’ straight truck.
• Ability to produce quality imaging with limited supervision.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Screening mammography at clinics, corporate and community outreach locations within the Twin Cities metro area.
• Team on mobile mammography unit with two mammographers or one mammographer and an assistant.
• Drive the mobile unit to screening locations.
