What We Ask Of You

• Building Operations: Understand all assigned properties, including building operations, preventative maintenance schedules, energy management systems, and equipment status. Maintain each property's professional appearance.
• Building Maintenance: Operate building equipment within design capabilities to achieve proper environmental conditions, optimize performance, and minimize costs. Adhere to preventive maintenance schedules. Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical, plumbing, basic HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Work Order Management: Manage work and provide updates via the computerized work order system. Collaborate with the Property Manager or Supervisor to resolve delays.
• Time Management, Communication & Professionalism: Manage time efficiently, maintain professionalism, and communicate effectively via emails and work order notes.
• On-Call Rotation: Be available for on-call duties based on business needs.

Desired Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry
• 1-3 years of commercial property maintenance experience
• Proficiency with tools and equipment, safety-conscious
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Proficiency with mobile devices for work orders and time tracking
• Frequent travel, required
• Driver's license and auto insurance, required

Compensation

• Sign On Bonus: $1,000 at hire, plus another $1,000 after six months
• Base pay: $19 - $29 per hour, depending on experience and skills
