Job summary

Hawthorne Cat in Guam is seeking a Lube Technician to operate a lube truck, service diesel equipment, and maintain preventative maintenance records for heavy machinery and generators.

Responsibilities include fueling, lubricating, changing oil and filters, and reporting maintenance trends. A high school diploma and mechanical repair experience are required, with a Guam Class B license and hand tools provided by Hawthorne.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two-year’s experience in servicing, preventative maintenance, vehicle and equipment inspection work including mechanical repairs on automotive or diesel equipment vehicles.
• Must have the ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills with proper business etiquette and a high customer service aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Drives a lube truck to various locations and services diesel-powered vehicles and equipment by fueling, lubricating, and changing oil and filters.
• Performs preventative maintenance tasks and maintains maintenance records and schedules.
• Maintains safe/work environment by following procedures and regulations.
