Job summary

The Jamestown Healing Clinic (JHC) is seeking a Dispensing Nurse I – LPN to join our Mobile Medication Unit team in Sequim, WA. This part-time role administers medications, maintains accurate drug records, and ensures safekeeping of all stock in accordance with DEA, FDA, and state regulations.

The LPN works with a multidisciplinary team to monitor patient status, perform specimen collections, and document care in the EMR while upholding HIPAA and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and WA LPN license.
• Unrestricted license to practice in Washington state.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by providers.
• Maintain accurate medication records and stock accountability.
• Safekeeping of medication stock and records per DEA, State Board of Pharmacy, and JHC policies.
• Perform breath alcohol testing and urine collection as required; document results.
• Enter and update prescriptions and medications in the patient’s EMR.
• Chart patient encounters and incidents accurately in the EMR.
• Explain proper use and effects of dispensed medications to patients.
• Communicate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
