Job summary

Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library is seeking a dedicated Library Associate for the Mobile Unit. This part-time role (20 hours per week) involves staffing and driving the Mobile Library, assisting patrons, shelving materials, and providing reader's advisory services.

The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent, with library experience preferred, strong communication skills, and a Virginia driver's license. Evening/weekend hours and background checks are possible.

Responsibilities

• Staff and drive the Mobile Library to connect the community with library services and materials.

• Ensure safe operation of the mobile library in compliance with laws and regulations.
