Job summary

A tech solutions provider is seeking a Field Service Technician/Computer Driving Technician to travel to customer locations in the US for computer repair and troubleshooting. Candidates must have A+ Certification and experience with laptops and desktops. This long-term contract position offers a pay rate of $16.00 per hour, with mileage reimbursement and a commitment to customer service. Applicants should be prepared for extensive driving and the possibility of future technical training.

Qualifications

• A+ Certification is mandatory (training/expired status accepted).
• Dell or any other product manufacturer certification is a plus.
• Good experience with laptops and desktops.
• Experience with break/fix is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive to various customer locations from the pickup parts location.
• Visit both business offices and homes to repair, troubleshoot and break-fix computers.
• Use own vehicle to travel and provide service to customers.
• Travel within a radius of 50 to 70 miles from the pickup parts location.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner of speaking.
