Job summary

A technology service provider is seeking a Field Service Technician/Computer Driving Technician in Charlotte, NC. The role involves traveling to customer locations to repair and troubleshoot computers, requiring an A+ Certification and experience with laptops and desktops. You will need your own vehicle and be prepared for extensive driving. The pay is $16.00 per hour with additional mileage reimbursement. Commitment to the role and a professional demeanor are essential.

Qualifications

• A+ Certification is mandatory (training/expired status accepted).
• Dell or other product manufacturer certification is a plus.
• Good experience with laptops and desktops.
• Experience with break/fix is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive to various customer locations from the pickup parts location.
• Visit business offices and homes to repair computers, desktops, laptops and printers.
• Use own vehicle to travel for customer service.
• Work primarily with Dell products, previous experience is a plus.
• Travel within a radius of 50 to 70 miles.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner of speaking.
• Prepare for overtime work and extensive driving.
