Job summary

Day Wireless Systems, the West's largest full-service wireless integrator, seeks a Mobile Installation Associate to install fixed and wireless equipment in vehicles, in-shop or on-site, following guidelines with moderate supervision.

The role requires basic wiring knowledge, familiarity with 12V systems, use of hand tools and electronic meters, and a clean driving record. A high school diploma is required; training will be provided. Travel may be local or overnight.

Qualifications

• Basic wiring knowledge is preferred; training provided.
• Familiarity with hand tools and 12V systems is essential.
• Mechanical aptitude to operate hand and power tools and basic electronic equipment is desired.
• Good oral communication skills are necessary.
• Experience in installing mobile and fixed communications equipment is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Execute installations of fixed and wireless equipment in vehicles, assembling and securing components per guidelines.
• Perform installations at shop or customer sites.
• Inventory and stage parts before installation to ensure availability.
• Assist in optimizing equipment post-installation for proper function.
• Complete job tickets and time sheets documenting activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace and tools.
• Foster positive customer relations and communicate additional information as needed.
• Travel may be required for local daily trips or occasional overnight stays.
