Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a Part-Time In-Home Veterinarian to serve Hernando, FL and surrounding areas. You’ll provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia services at clients’ homes, offering flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules and meaningful work.

The role emphasizes work-life balance, ongoing mentorship, and a supportive culture. Candidates must hold a DVM and a valid U.S. driver’s license, with some weekend availability and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent from AVMA-accredited program.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets in home settings.
• Travel to client homes in Hernando, FL and surrounding areas for examinations.
• Deliver compassionate veterinary care and support to families during end-of-life moments.
• Collaborate with Lap of Love team for mentorship and best practices.
