Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a Part-Time In-Home Veterinarian to serve Hernando, FL and surrounding areas. You will provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care directly in clients' homes, offering flexible, patient-centered service.

As a mobile veterinarian, you’ll practice with purpose while balancing personal well-being, supported by onboarding, mentorship, and a network of experienced leaders. In-home appointments foster meaningful connections with families.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS veterinary degree required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check after hire and before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in-home.
• Practice independently as a mobile veterinarian.
• Collaborate with Lap of Love mentors and team.
• Maintain compassionate client communication and documentation.
