Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Mobile HVAC Technician for a leading facilities management client in Knoxville, TN. The role supports multiple commercial sites, performing operation, maintenance and repairs of HVAC/R systems.

The position offers a first shift, competitive pay, and opportunities to expand skills across electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems while using Corrigo CMMS for work orders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of building engineering or facilities maintenance with a strong commercial HVAC/R background.
• EPA/CFC universal certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Hands-on experience with commercial HVAC/R, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• High school diploma or GED and a valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC/R systems and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain commercial refrigeration systems and HVAC equipment ranging from 5-50 tons.
• Update work orders in real time and document completed maintenance using CMMS such as Corrigo.

As a Mobile HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Maintenance team supporting multiple commercial sites. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Knoxville, TN

Pay Range: $31-$35/hr

What’s the Job?

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC/R systems and associated equipment.


• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility systems.


• Troubleshoot and maintain commercial refrigeration systems and HVAC equipment ranging from 5-50 tons.


• Perform facility inspections and identify conditions that may impact building operations or client occupancy.


• Update work orders in real time and document completed maintenance using CMMS systems such as Corrigo.

What’s Needed?

• Minimum of 4 years of building engineering or facilities maintenance experience with a strong commercial HVAC/R background.


• Universal EPA/CFC certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.


• Hands-on experience with commercial HVAC/R, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.


• High school diploma or GED and a valid state driver's license.


• Ability to travel between assigned sites and be available for on-call work as needed.
