Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mobile Engineer to operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and other equipment across facilities in the Philadelphia area. The role focuses on energy efficiency, life extension of assets, and minimizing downtime while documenting past experiences to improve reliability.

Key duties include preventive and repair work orders, CMMS usage, and ensuring safe, efficient operation of all building systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering with strong HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial refrigeration and/or supermarket refrigeration.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and repair work orders on facility mechanical and electrical systems.
• Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution, plumbing, and related building components.
• Familiarize with equipment and proper methods used daily.
• Conduct facility inspections and due diligence to ensure client occupancy and operations.
• Submit P-card receipts daily and update work order status in real time.
• Utilize CMMS systems (Corrigo) for all work performed.
• Possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
• Be available for call-in work and perform other duties as required.

Mobile Engineer:

Operates, inspects, andmaintainsall HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment and systems in assigned facilities to obtain most efficient operating results and life expectancy. Assures that equipment is beingmaintainedin an energy efficient, safe manner and down time is reduced to a minimum by anticipation of necessary repairs keeping records of past operating experiences. Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls and flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, etc. Strong focus on operating,maintaining,troubleshootingand repairingfacility equipment on all HVAC/R systems. Individuals are expectedtodemonstratetechnicalexpertisein HVAC and refrigeration and be multi skilled in electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, Material HandlingEquipmentand othersin order tosuccessfully complete daily/weekly work assignments.

What is your day to day?

• Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical,electricaland other installed systems, equipment, and other components.
• Maintain,operate, and repair all HVAC/R systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds, and production equipment as it pertains to assigned buildings.
• Study and become familiar with thevarious itemsof equipment, and the methodsrequiredto use them properly, that arerequiredin everyday activities.
• Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts,reporting onas found conditionsimpactingsatisfactory client occupancy and operations.
• Submit P-card Receipts Daily

• Candidate mustpossessand maintain a valid state driver’s license

RequiredQualifications:

• Universal CFC recovery certification (or within90 daysof employment)
• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering with a strong background in the technical aspects of HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, production equipment repair and maintenance. Knowledge of overall system design and applications.
• Experience troubleshooting andmaintainingcommercial refrigeration and/or supermarket refrigeration.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.

PreferredQualifications:

• ExperienceutilizingCMMS (Work Order) systems
• Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel
• Two years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems,refrigerationand HVAC

Location: Mobile position covering Philadelphia, PA and surrounding area.

Work Shift: Standard business hours with on-call availability
