Job summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC is seeking an HVAC Technician (Rover) to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial HVAC systems at client sites. You will work with CMMS work orders, install and repair equipment, and review environmental controls.

Responsibilities include safe operation, reading blueprints, and coordinating with subcontractors while maintaining a clean, safe work area. On-call shifts and driving may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years commercial/residential HVAC experience.
• Able to read blueprints and follow written instructions.
• Willing to work on-call shifts and use MS Office tools.
• Must interact well with clients and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and some corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment per CMMS work orders.
• Install, repair, and maintain machinery including VAV, pumps, fans, and boilers.
• Ensure safe operation of systems and compliance with codes and procedures.
• Diagnose problems using inspection/testing and proper tools.
• Learn facility layouts and operating procedures for environmental controls.
• Escort subcontractors and maintain a clean, safe work site.
• Complete required safety and training tasks; may train others.
• Possibly drive company or personal vehicle for job tasks more than 50% of the time.
