Job summary

CGL is seeking an HVAC Technician (Rover) to perform preventive and some corrective maintenance on a range of HVAC systems at client sites. The role requires reading blueprints, following safety procedures, and coordinating with subcontractors as needed.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining motors, pumps, and VAV systems, ensuring OSHA compliance, and logging all work in the CMMS. On-call availability may be required to support facilities maintenance operations.

Qualifications

• HVAC maintenance experience required, including preventive and some corrective tasks.
• Ability to read blueprints and as-built drawings.
• EPA 608 certification required; HVAC certification preferred.
• Willingness to work on-call shifts and interact with clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and some corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment per CMMS work orders.
• Install, repair, and maintain motors, pumps, belts, fans, and air handling components including VAV and fan-powered boxes.
• Ensure safe operation of systems and compliance with safety standards (OSHA and client).Read and interpret environmental control procedures and operating manuals.
• Escort subcontractors and supervise on-site work when needed.
• Maintain documentation of work performed in CMMS; ensure clean and organized workspace.
