Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice & In-Home Euthanasia is seeking compassionate veterinarians to provide in-home hospice and end-of-life care in Cleveland, Chagrin, Parma, Lakewood, Mentor and surrounding areas. You will practice independently on the road with strong team support, mentorship, and a focus on dignity and empathy for grieving families.

The role emphasizes a slower pace, meaningful patient interactions, and flexible 2–5 day or self-managed schedules with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Weekends on your terms and flexible scheduling options.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• License verification and background check required before start.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home hospice care and end-of-life services to pets.
• Perform in-home euthanasia with dignity and empathy.
• Practice medicine with autonomy on the road while receiving mentorship.
• Collaborate with families to discuss options and answer questions with kindness.
