Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice & In-Home Euthanasia is seeking a compassionate veterinarian to provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services across Ohio and Michigan. You’ll work on the road, with ongoing mentorship, and a focus on patient comfort and family support in familiar home settings.

We offer a schedule built around your life, from 2 to 5 days per week with self-managed options, generous base pay with quarterly bonuses, and substantial benefits.

Qualifications

• DVM required for practice in home hospice.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and 90 lbs with assistance.
• Weekends on your terms; flexible scheduling possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia veterinary care.
• Practice independently on the road with mentorship and team support.
• Engage with families on difficult conversations with kindness and dignity.
