Heartstrings Pet Hospice seeks veterinarians to provide compassionate in-home hospice and end-of-life care across Oceanside, Carlsbad, and San Clemente in California. You will work on the road, meeting families in their homes, with time to listen and support them during difficult moments.

Qualifications

• DVM required; US license verification will be completed before start.
• Excellent bedside manner and ability to communicate with grieving families.
• Ability to work independently in home-based patient visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home hospice and end-of-life care for companion animals.
• Perform in-home euthanasia when appropriate and support families through the process.
• Educate and guide families on end-of-life options and aftercare.

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
