Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice seeks veterinarians to provide compassionate in-home hospice and end-of-life care for pets in Vacaville, Fairfield, Vallejo, Santa Rosa and surrounding areas in California. You will practice on the road with autonomy while receiving mentorship and support from a caring team.

The role emphasizes meaningful, patient-centered care over clinic pace, with flexible scheduling options from 2 to 5 days per week and self-managed scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must hold Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• License verification, background check, and driving record review prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and end-of-life care for pets.
• Practice independently on the road with support from mentors and team.
