Anchor Health is seeking a Music Therapist to provide therapy on the road under the direction of the Clinical Director. The role involves directing patients through music therapy to ease anxiety and other symptoms, educating the clinical team on contraindications, and maintaining timely clinical documentation.

Requires MT-BC certification, a Bachelor's in Music Therapy, and a valid driver's license. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure/Certification: MT-BC certification from Certification Board for Music Therapists.
• Must be a licensed driver with insured vehicle.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.
• Must follow safety rules and facility policies (HIPAA, etc.).

Responsabilités

• Direct patients through music therapy interventions to alleviate anxiety, depression, isolation, agitation, pain and promote relaxation.
• Provide ongoing education to the clinical team on treatment appropriateness and contraindications.
• Maintain records and clinical notes; document within 24 hours of sessions.
