Forklifts Group is seeking an experienced Heavy Truck Mechanic in San Diego to diagnose and repair diesel-equipped trucks. The role includes preventive maintenance, DOT compliance, and frequent use of diagnostic tools.

You will work on engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems to minimize downtime and communicate repair needs to customers. With a 2+ year background in heavy truck or diesel tech, you will join a team that performs on-site field service and responds to road service

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in heavy truck/mechanic roles.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, air brake systems and electrical systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and troubleshoot heavy-duty truck and diesel equipment breakdowns and provide repair estimates.
• Repair engines, transmissions, differentials, brakes, steering, suspension, exhaust, and electrical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and DOT compliance checks.
• Use diagnostic equipment and OEM software to identify failures.
