Job summary

Vermeer All Roads in Manassas is seeking a Field/Road Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair Vermeer and similar construction equipment at customer sites. This field-based role requires autonomous work, safe practices, and clear communication with customers and the Service team.

You will service and repair equipment, diagnose hydraulic/electrical problems, and provide cost estimates. A CDK background is a plus, with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel daily to customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment (field-based).
• Diagnose malfunctions in hydraulic, electrical, and hydrostatic systems.
• Recommend repairs and prepare accurate cost estimates (CDK a plus).
• Perform welding/fabrication as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs performed.
• Stay current with industry and technical advancements.
• Communicate with factory/OEM for technical support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
