Job summary

Vermeer All Roads is seeking a Field/Road Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair Vermeer and similar construction equipment on customer sites. This role requires traveling to diverse job sites and working independently in the field.

You will diagnose hydraulic, electrical, and hydrostatic systems, provide cost estimates, and perform welding or fabrication as needed. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel daily to customer locations.
• Positive attitude and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment (field-based).
• Diagnose malfunctions in hydraulic, electrical, and hydrostatic systems.
• Recommend repairs and prepare accurate cost estimates (CDK a plus).
• Perform welding/fabrication as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs performed.
• Stay current with industry and technical advancements.
• Communicate with factory/OEM for technical support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
