Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. seeks a Heavy Duty Truck Field Service Technician to perform repairs at customer facilities and diagnose Cummins engine issues. Candidates should have school bus systems knowledge, strong diesel engine experience, and a proactive service mindset.

Ideal applicants will work well in a team, communicate clearly with customers, and handle overtime or after-hours calls as needed. CDL may be required.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of School Bus systems.
• Strong Diesel Engine knowledge, Cummins preferred.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with basic Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform truck maintenance and repairs at customer facilities.
• Diagnose issues and relay findings clearly to customers.
• Maintain neat, safe work areas and high work standards.
• Communicate status of maintenance and repairs to customers.
• Be available for overtime and after-hours calls as needed.
• Possess or obtain CDL if required.
