Job summary

Allstate Peterbilt Group is hiring a Mobile Service Technician to diagnose and repair medium and heavy-duty trucks, both in-shop and on roadside situations, with a focus on keeping customers on the road. The role involves inventory management, parts coordination, and on-site testing, along with ongoing training and career development.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform repair in shop type atmosphere and on occasion, road side situations.
• Maintain accurate inventory on service vehicle and ensure appropriate stock levels.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Road test vehicles when required.
• Mentor less-skilled technicians as assigned.
• Follow service policies and procedures to insure safety, profitability and accuracy.
• Learn to use new information technology as it becomes available.
