Job summary

San Ysidro Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative / Mobile Health Unit Driver to support appointment scheduling, patient registration, and transport of medical staff. You will greet patients, verify eligibility, and guide them through funding options while maintaining the Mobile Unit and records.

The role requires basic computer skills, English fluency, and a valid CA Class B license. Weekend or evening shifts may be required; prior healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid California Class B Driver’s License with air brakes endorsement.
• One year of customer service experience.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.
• Experience with medical record office procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contact scheduled patients and remind them about their appointment.
• Assemble all data and documents required for patient registration and billing.
• Schedule appointments in the office and on the Mobile Unit.
• Enter current patient demographic information into NextGen system.
• Assists patients in obtaining services and information on funding eligibility.
• Maintain Mobile Unit cleanliness and keep in optimum working order.
• Provide excellent customer service and direct patients and visitors as needed.
