Job summary

Heartland Health Services - Central Illinois is seeking a Medical Services Driver to safely operate and transport the Mobile Health Unit to community and rural locations, and to provide courier services between HHS sites, storage facilities, vendors, and community partners.

Four days per week, theDriver is responsible for transporting the Mobile Health Unit, assisting with site setup, and providing a visible security presence at community events and outreach activities.

Qualifications

• Illinois class C license is required.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.
• Ability to organize tasks and time to ensure timely completion.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, staff and professionals in multiple settings and locations.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Own vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Operate and transport the Mobile Health Unit.
• Assist with site setup and stock supplies.
• Provide security presence at community events.
• Handle courier services and deliveries among facilities.
• Retrieves, sorts, and distributes medical records and documents.
