Job summary

The University of New Hampshire's Health Sciences Simulation Center seeks a dedicated Simulation Technician to support faculty and students in mobile unit simulations, ensuring high-quality learning experiences.

You will coordinate gear, boot up simulators, drive to rural NH sites, maintain labs and AV systems, and help train new staff, with emphasis on safety and instructional best practices to elevate student outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate equipment and supplies for events moving onto/off mobile unit.
• Boot up and shut down simulators, prepare and break down rooms and equipment.
• Operate simulators, VR software, and AV systems for simulations.
• Model simulator responses to scenario specifications.
• Reset rooms between sessions and restock supplies.
• Travel with/mobile the unit to sites for outreach and training.
• Assist in developing and demonstrating instructional best practices for manikins and equipment.
• Provide technical support for trainers and multimedia peripherals.
• Assist in training new simulation technicians.
