Job summary

TridentCare is seeking a General/Vascular Sonographer for a mobile role across nursing homes, home care facilities, and other sites in the service region. Flexible shifts from 7:00am–3:30pm or 8:00am–4:30pm with a $40.00–$50.00 per hour pay and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Travel by car to multiple sites is required, with self-dispatch capabilities. Responsibilities include performing ultrasound exams, sending images to radiologists, and verifying orders while maintaining equipment and vehicle.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
• Maintain required certification, registries, health and operational requirements.
• Carry and provide credentials at all times; valid driver’s license required.
• Driver’s license checks may be performed for associates.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile ultrasound service at nursing homes, home care facilities, prisons, and processing sites.
• Perform exams ordered by physicians using portable equipment and transmit images for radiologist interpretation.
• Self-dispatch or coordinate with dispatch to begin caseload and manage cases throughout shift.
• Verify orders against patient charts and ensure correct patient identity before exams.
• Maintain equipment, vehicle, and professional conduct; communicate professionally with clients.
