Job summary

Alta Equipment Group is seeking a full-time Forklift Field Service Technician for our Elkhart, IN branch. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment, and provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

Two years of forklift repair experience.
Military MOS/NEC experience is a plus (63B,63H,63S,63W,63Y,91B,91H,91L,91M, CM).
Strong knowledge of electric and LP units.
Own your tools and be prepared to work independently.
Clean driving record and valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on customer forklifts and material handling equipment.
Diagnose and repair all forms of customer equipment.
Complete repairs timely, efficiently, and professionally.
Provide exceptional customer service and work independently.
Manage workload and submit required paperwork.
