Job summary

TKC Holdings, Inc. – IC Solutions (ICS) seeks a Digital Forensics Lab Technician to conduct forensic data extractions from contraband cell phones and mobile devices within correctional facilities.

You will document, summarize, and upload evidence to authorized case management systems, maintaining chain-of-custody and high accuracy. The role emphasizes adherence to forensic procedures, timely reporting, and confidentiality, with a production expectation of about 50 device extractions per week and

Qualifications

• IACIS MDE or NCFI MDE certification is required or preferred.
• Experience conducting mobile device forensic examinations and data extractions.
• Understanding of mobile OS, digital evidence handling, and forensic methodologies.
• Ability to maintain evidence integrity and chain of custody requirements.
• Experience supporting law enforcement, corrections, intelligence, or investigations.

Responsibilities

• Perform forensic data extractions on contraband cell phones and devices.
• Maintain a production rate of about 50 device extractions per week.
• Analyze extracted data and prepare concise extraction reports.
• Upload extraction reports into Alabama ADOC case management systems.
• Ensure proper evidence handling and adherence to forensic procedures.
• Document extraction activities and maintain accurate records of examinations.
• Support investigative personnel with timely digital evidence reports.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
